This kickstand does what every kickstand should. It holds my sweet bike up. It has never failed me yet, in fact, as I type, it is proudly doing it's best right now, hold up my bike in the garage. I'll wager that when you are reading this review in the future (right now that is) this kick stand is accurately performing its function. I recommend this little guy as a proud addition to any bike. It will not let you (or your bike!) down.

I purchased this Greenfield kickstand at a local sporting goods store to replace the kickstand that came with my hybrid bicycle. This kickstand is, in a word, solid. The spring is very strong, and the kickstand length is a perfect match to my original stand. And it's made in the USA, which I found to be a nice bonus.The only criticism I have for this Greenfield kickstand is that the diameter of the stand is somewhat narrow. This makes the bike easy to tip over if you are not on solid pavement. I suggest that you add the Greenfield rubber foot (available on Amazon: Greenfield Kickstand Rubber Foot) to this kickstand. The foot makes your bike much more stable on both solid and unstable (sand, dirt) ground.

This is the world best kickstand and comes in black and alloy. It is light, easy to fit and has a great spring. I now have one on all three of my mountain bikes
