My 7 yr. old son got this for Christmas. It was extremely easy to put together and it stays together. It doesn't take up as much space as some of his other track sets do. When you have to move it to another spot in the house, it stays together. My son has been playing with this since he got it and it has yet to come apart. He loves trying all different types of cars to see if they will work and crash. Some work great and some don't...as like all hotwheels track system. Part of the fun is trying different cars out. I would reccomend this if your child likes to see fast moving cars and watching them crash!

My [...] son had a lot of fun with this while it worked. However the point where the tracks connect break very easily. And once they're broken your kind of out of luck. As I type this the glue is drying as I try to repair the track for him. So if you buy this item, might want to order some super glur at the same time...

One of my son's FAVORITE toys for Xmas - and that includes a TRAIN TABLE AND a LIGHT SABER!!!! This is fun not only for him (3) but for big sis (6) AND mom & dad - fun for him when they crash, fun for us to see how many we can get running on the track at one time w/o crashing - fun for sis just to TRY to get them on there at all in the middle of the race. Educational? Maybe - as far as trial and error (scientific experimentation) goes, which cars work better, which stay on longer, etc. etc. DEFINATELY worth the $40 we paid at Toys R us!!!!!!
