I am pleased with this lock. Its length makes it easy to secure the bike to things, though it also makes the lock large to store on the bike. Yet the velcro strip that comes with it makes it easy to secure so it isn't in the way. And the bracket is great, with an easy push-button release. A good, medium-high security lock.

I had this lock and found it cut in half sitting where my bike used to be. My bike was parked right by my apartment - the thief couldn't have taken long.

I had the old combination version, its the perfect lock for a low value bike in a low crime area. It can only be cut by relatively large bolt cutters, which the thief had. The lock was cut, and my bike wast thrown into a waiting truck while three people watched in broad daylight outside a busy storefront. It happened so fast no one was able to do anything
